WHAT IS OSSD

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is a diploma granted to secondary school graduates by Canadian province of Ontario. OSSD is recognized by most universities in USA, Canada, UK, Hongkong, Australia, and other English speaking countries.

OSSD Graduation Requirements

30 Credits

Complete Total of 30 Credits: 18 compulsory courses + 12 elective courses

*Your previous high school credits are transferable

Provincial Literary Test

Take the provincial literary test online. We will help you study for the test

*Test is Pass or Fail basis

Community Service

Do 40 hours of community service: Volunteer, School events, etc.

*Online students can submit certificate as proof of your volunteer service.

Better Assessment

No more test-orientated study! We evaluate your high school GPA through 70% home work + 30% final exam for each subjects. You will evaluated by your assigned teachers.

Credit Based Learning

You can decide the pace of your learning by selecting how many credits you will take per semester. You can take up to 5 credits(courses) per semester and study together with ESL courses.

Flexible Credit Transfer

OSSD accepts credits from high school from different provinces and countries internationally. Accredit maximum of 24 credits.

Everyday learning with OSSD

Concordia recognize the difficulty in online learning for high school students. We developed our curriculum online in user-friendly Canvas and divided the curriculum to every day tasks for students to easily follow. On average, you will study for 6 hours a day, supported by your teachers who is available for you via email and live classrooms. To make sure the student is responsible for their study, we blended the online education with 60% self-study and 40% live course for teachers to interact and check the students work.
