The International Foundation Program (IFP) offers direct path to undergraduate study for international students who have completed high school. Combining academic modules, study skills, and English language preparation, this program qualities students to meet the challenges of undergraduate degree-level study at the university.
The IFP curriculum designed and thought by the highest quality Staff and program is completely in English, ensuring that students get the best possible preparation for their undergraduate degrees. The International Foundation Year is 3 term program which fully prepares you for entry onto your bachelor’s degree program. It has several intakes every year.
You will study a mixture of subject-specized, English language, and Academic Study Skills content. The subject modules are carefully tailored to your chosen degree to ensure that you are fully prepared for year one of your Bachelor’s program.
You’ll be given a full and comprehensive orientation into university life. Fr om the moment you start your course a personal tutor will support your academic and personal development to help you get the most out of your time. Regular and structured meetings will aid you not only to do well in your studies but also to become a more con dent, articulate, and highly employable graduate.
International Foundation Year guarantees all students who pass with the required grades progression onto Bachelor’s degree programmes.
Which degree programmes can I progress to? Depending on your chosen programme of study, you’ll enrol onto one of our 6 foundation year routes:

• Engineering
• Science
• Joint honours
When you successfully complete the International Foundation Year, you will progress onto one of more than 130 different Bachelor’s degree programmes.
